FERTILIZER AND MANURES:- During the preparation of the land , use of 40 Quintal well rotted F.Y.M. and 6 kg Azotobactor were used per acre. Use chemical fertilizer on the basis of Soil Test Report . For High Yielding and Hybrid Varieties are use 15 kg N., 24 kg P, Or 24 kg K as chemical fertilizer in basal After 21 days and 40 days of planting apply 5 kg N and 8 kg K as top dressing followed by light irrigation. For chemical fertilizer use any one set of the following:- (For 1 acre/100 decimal).

Micro-nutrient also may apply by foliar spray of chelated zinc 1gm/litter of water, molybdenum 0.5gm/liter water and boron 2gm/liter of water after 3 week and 6 week of planting.
