The inaugural Manchester
Awards 2017 welcomed 150 guests at the Mercure
Manchester Piccadilly Hotel on Tuesday, October 24th
in a celebration of the best professionals and establishments in the city of Manchester.
The Manchester Awards
are a celebration of the success
and achievements of the Manchester community – the
people and the businesses that work tirelessly to make a difference and
contribute to the development of the city we all love. The
winners are a true reflection of high standard and customer service as they are
chosen by members of the general public.
The black tie
event was hosted by BBC Manchester broadcaster, Becky Want.
She welcomed on
stage talented individuals and businesses, acknowledged for constantly delivering
memorable experiences and high-quality service to their clients.
Irfan Younis,
CEO of organizers Creative Oceanic, said: “We are
honoured and delighted to have such great finalists and winners representing
the city of Manchester and enhancing its reputation nationally and
internationally.”
“These
were the first annual Manchester Awards. They are a true reflection of the
talent in Manchester and we want to make sure that the hard work and
determination of the diverse establishments and professionals contributing to
the Manchester community don’t go unnoticed.”
“We were
very happy to welcome the guests and celebrate with them. Congratulations to
all finalists and winners!”
The awards
supported the Make-A-Wish Foundation and raised £466.60.
